One of the country’s most dedicated natural stone suppliers, Lithic Australia’s carefully-curated range of tiles, pavers, slabs, cobblestone and wall cladding has been sourced from across the globe.
To convey the calibre of Lithic Australia’s collection, Redback designed and developed a custom WordPress website just as stylish – complete with a rock-solid SEO strategy and strong performance. Ultimately, we’ve transformed their online presence, giving the brand a fast, modern and easy-to-manage natural stone website that encourages users to enquire.

Meanwhile, our content specialists got to work. To inform the sitemap and on-page SEO strategy, we performed in-depth research on high-priority search topics and terms, such as ‘white stone tiles’, ‘natural stone pavers’ and ‘kitchen tiles’.
Then we created SEO briefs to advise the content structure, keyword focuses, internal linking, and metadata for each landing page type. With these instructional guides on hand, Lithic Australia was able to write natural stone website content that would hit the Google ground running.
Technical SEO
Paving the way for unpaid clicks
Improving organic traffic and conversions was a core priority for Lithic Australia. To boost Google rankings, as well as resulting sessions and enquiries, we optimised their new website from the outset.
First, our development team took care of all things technical. By implementing best-in-class design and coding practices, we made sure the website was secure, accessible and quick to load – all key ingredients for search engine optimisation (SEO).
We also handled the migration and redirection of old website URLs to the new custom WordPress theme for a truly seamless transition.

To encourage customers to take the next step, we created a scalable natural stone website with sharp visuals and simple UX.
We wanted to strengthen the Lithic Australia brand by highlighting the breadth of their beautiful collection and the premium quality of each project. That meant designing an intuitive UX that enables customers to browse by stone, colour, product type and space. Once on the desired page, a user can explore everything there is to know about a given category before enquiring. From product options and related projects to advised applications and FAQs, we presented every piece of information using a clear-cut and contemporary layout. The new site also features an aesthetic gallery that showcases recent projects with colourful and consistent case study cards. Again, potential buyers can filter this design inspiration by focus. Now, it’s easier than ever to find the perfect stone for any space.
